PhD candidate in Mineral Deposits and Precambrian Geology

FROM: South Africa; GRADUATED FROM: University of Limpopo, South Africa; CURRENT RESEARCH: Petrology and mineral chemistry of chromitite seams of the Platreef, Bushveld (South Africa): Looking for geochemical markers to identify and differentiate among chromitite cycles; SUPERVISOR: Pedro Jugo

PhD candidate from Limpopo, South Africa. Completed my undergraduate degree at University of Limpopo. Started research at Laurentian University in the Fall of 2015; working on chromitite layer-hosted PGE-Ni-Cu mineralization in the Northern Limb of the Bushveld Igneous Complex, South Africa. I enjoy dealing with mafic-ultramafic rocks and minerals, base metal sulfides (BMS) and platinum group minerals (PGM), as well as various analytical instruments, such as EPMA (microprobe) and LA-ICP-MS (laser ablation inductively coupled plasma mass spectrometer).
