Laurentian University’s Open House will be Saturday, March 21.
Students, parents, families, and friends are invited to explore the campus, learn about programs and services, and meet professors, students, and staff.

For those interested in our Earth Sciences and Geology programs and courses, the Harquail School of Earth Sciences welcomes you to join us in the Willet Green Miller Centre. Come for a tour, mini-lecture, careers talk, and snacks. You'll have the chance to meet professors, students, and staff, visit the labs and classrooms at the Harquail School of Earth Sciences, and ask any questions you may have about the Earth Sciences program.
The activity schedule is below:
10:45-11:45
Morning Tour of the Harquail School of Earth Sciences (departing at 10:45 from the Parker Atrium. Visit our Earth Sciences table in the Atrium, and a tour guide will walk you to the Willet Green Miller Centre.
12:00-12:20
Pizza and refreshments during an informal presentation: "Careers in the Geosciences" by Dr. Jack Simmons in our Seminar Room B8024, 8th floor of the Willet Green Miller Centre.
12:30-1:00
Mini-lecture: "How Earth's amazing 4.5-billion-year history created Canada's mineral resources," presented by Dr. Elizabeth Turner in the Paleo Lab B8045, 8th floor of the Willet Green Miller Centre.
1:30-2:30
Afternoon Tour of the Harquail School of Earth Sciences (departing at 1:30 from the Parker Atrium. Visit our table in the Atrium, and tour guides will walk you to the Willet Green Miller Centre.
