Blake Mowbray
MSc Geology (Thesis)Supracrustal stratigraphy, mineralogy, mineralisation, metamorphism, alteration and structure of the Jefferson Prospect, Swayze Greenstone Belt, ON
Blake joined Metal Earth in 2017 to begin work on his MSc based in the Swayze area of the Abitibi greenstone belt. His project on the Jefferson Prospect is supported by the Ontario Geological Survey (OGS) in cooperation with the Metal Earth team, under the supervision of Dr Gibson. Blake is from Calgary Alberta but contrary to his soft rock roots has found himself engaged in the research of Archean terranes.
The project is a prospective deposit in the Swayze area of the Abitibi Greenstone belt. In alignment with his research interests, Blake is investigating the supracrustal stratigraphy, mineralogy, mineralisation, metamorphism, alteration and structure of this deposit.
