Blake Mowbray

MSc Candidate Geology

Blake joined Metal Earth in 2017 to begin work on his M.Sc. based in the Swayze area of the Abitibi greenstone belt. His project on the Jefferson Prospect is supported by the Ontario Geological Survey (OGS) in cooperation with the Metal Earth team. Blake is from Calgary Alberta but contrary to his soft rock roots has found himself engaged in the research of Archean terranes.

Blake is a masters student working under the supervision of Dr Gibson on a prospective deposit in the Swayze area of the Abitibi Greenstone belt. In alignment with his research interests, Blake is investigating the supracrustal stratigraphy, mineralogy, mineralisation, metamorphism, alteration and structure of this deposit.
