MSc Geology StudentTectonothermal history, geochronology and phase equilibria of the Rae basement in an area north of the Fury and Hecla Strait on Baffin Island, Canada
I'm from London, Ontario, where I did a honours specialization in geology at the University of Western Ontario. I am interested in metamorphic geology, phase equilibria and experimental petrology. At Laurentian University, I am undertaking a part of the multi-disciplinary Fury and Hecla Geoscience Project (led by the Canada-Nunavut Geoscience Office) under the supervision of Dr. Doug Tinkham.
An area north of the Fury and Hecla Strait on Baffin Island has not been detailed mapped and through partnership of the CNGO and GSC, the project focuses on the tectonothermal history, geochronology and phase equilibria of the Rae basement of the area.
