The Third Annual DES End-of-Year Banquet was held on Saturday 06 April 2013 at the Italian Club in Copper Cliff. Karin Ostler, Tom Raskivicius, and Danielle Venne presented the results of their BSc Honours research, and Dr. David Burrows (Vale and Adjunct Professor) gave a presentation on his geological travels. Danielle received the Beilhartz Best Thesis Presentation Award and Karin received the Departmental Outstanding Graduating Student Award.
