Environmental Geoscience program no longer admitting new students

On April 12, Laurentian University announced changes due to restructuring that impact students, professors, and staff.

Unfortunately, one of these changes means that we are no longer able to admit students into our Environmental Geoscience BSc program. 

The Harquail School of Earth Sciences, as well as our programs, including the Earth Sciences BSc, Applied Mineral Exploration MSc, thesis-based MSc, and our PhD programs, remain healthy and strong.

Current Environmental Geoscience students, as well as future students who have received an offer of admission into the program, have been contacted to discuss their academic options.  These options include enrolling in our Earth Sciences BSc program, which also enables students to fulfil the knowledge requirements to become a registered professional geoscientist.
