TVO Kids comes to Science North!

TVO Kids is helping raise awareness of careers in science, technology, engineering and mathematics via their new TV series called “When I grow up!”.

Mikaela, the host of the show, visits different work places each episode to experience what it would be like to work in that industry. The Harquail School and the Goodman School of Mines were invited to participate in the launch at Science North by bringing neat rocks and minerals to investigate under a microscope. It was great to meet many young scientists and to hear about some of their great rock collections.
