Jonathan Sutton

MSc Candidate Geology

Jonathan joined Metal Earth in 2017, his research focuses on VMS deposits and their spatiotemporal relationships with a synvolcanic intrusion in the Duprat-Montbray formation, lower Blake River group, Abitibi Greenstone belt. Supervisors: Harold Gibson and Taus Jørgensen


Jonathan is an M.Sc. Candidate and Field Supervisor at the Mineral Exploration Research Center – Metal Earth. He received his B.Sc. degree at Laurentian University’s Harquail School of Earth Sciences in 2017 and previously worked for the government and in industry where he participated in various exploration projects for diamondiferous kimberlites. His research interests focus on Mineral Exploration, Economic Geology and Volcanology, all of which relates to his current and previous research subjects. Supervisors: Harold Gibson and Taus Jørgensen
