I am originally from Newfoundland. I completed my Honours BSc in Geology at Memorial University of Newfoundland in 2023, where my thesis focused on the mineralogy and textural relationships of the Boundary VMS Deposit in Newfoundland under the supervision of Dr. Steve Piercey. I have two years of mineral exploration experience focused on early-stage exploration of orogenic gold deposits. My current MSc research at Laurentian University focuses on a structural investigation of the Kirkland Lake Gold Camp, in northern Ontario.

Project description: My project aims to further understand the structural controls constraining gold mineralization within the South Mine Complex at the Macassa property. The project consists of structural mapping from the Amalgamated Break (AB) to the Larder Lake Cadillac Deformation Zone (LLCDZ) and mapping along strike of the main break and 04 break from the Hargaves mine to Tolburn mine. All of these faults are important in controlling mineralization within the camp.
