Earth Sciences BSc students invited to apply for $20,000 scholarships

Prospective students offered admission into our undergraduate 4-year Earth Sciences program for September 2023 are encouraged to apply for a Harquail School of Earth Sciences (HES) BSc Scholarship.

Three new $5,000 scholarships will be awarded to eligible full-time students registered in our Earth Sciences program this September. An eligible BSc student may receive up to $20,000 through this renewable scholarship program throughout their 4-year degree, typically disbursed at $5,000 per academic year.

The criteria for applicants are the same as in previous years: a minimum average of 75% and a short letter (no more than 500 words) describing why they chose to study Earth Sciences at Laurentian University.

The School is accepting scholarship applications now. Students must email their scholarship application letter to hes@laurentian.ca to apply.
